Alto will ensure your function is organised in a smooth and professional manner, and we are confident your guests will enjoy their visit to one of Canberra’s most unique locations offering the most magnificent views. Please note that our menus are adjusted seasonally, and prices are current to 1 April 2010.

Venue Hire

Venue hire is inclusive of food and beverage charges. We do however have minimum charge if booking out the whole venue, this depends on time of year and day of the week. Please call to get an accurate quote.

Planning

Final arrangements and menu selections should be made with alto two weeks prior to the function with final numbers received five working days prior to the function. The numbers advised would be the minimum charged as long as these are within +/- 10% of booked numbers. We welcome the opportunity of working with you in planning your function to ensure a successful event.

Confirmation of Bookings

Confirmation of your booking must be made in writing with the date, estimated number of guests and time the function is to commence and any details which might be pertinent to your booking. A deposit of 50% is required to confirm your booking. Cancellation fees will apply if cancellation is within 60 days of function date.

Duration of Function

Our base menu is designed for a function of two hours duration and costed accordingly. Functions held on Sundays or public holidays incur a 10% surcharge to cover the cost of penalty wage rates for staff.
